Lighting of the Cenotaph
Armistice day was marked with the lighting of the Cenotaphs.
Members of the authority had decided collectively to mark Armistice day by illuminating the Cenotaphs throughout the Borough of Hartlepool. The evening was welcomed by residents who had the opportunity to visit throughout the day and also the evening to pay their respects to the fallen service men & woman.
